Born in Del Norte, Colorado, to his parents, Polinar and Elvira Pacheco; Dave was a beacon of kindness and compassion, leaving a legacy that will inspire and endure in the hearts of many. Dave's journey began in humble beginnings. He attended grade school until the seventh grade; however, the education he received through life experiences far surpassed formal education. His colleagues and friends admired his loyalty and unwavering support, traits that made him an irreplaceable companion and confidant.

In addition to his industrious spirit, Dave was known for his vibrant personality that lit up every room he entered. His humor and generosity were legendary. He was the kind of man who would always lend an empathetic ear to those in need. Family and friends cherished his presence, and he has left an indelible mark of kindness that will be treasured by all who knew him.

Dave is preceded in death by his beloved spouse, Ciria Pacheco; his parents, Polinar and Elvira Pacheco; children, Rose Pacheco, Joe Dave Pacheco, Mary Margret Torres, Leonard Pacheco, Elena Noyes, Juan Martinez, Mildred Trujillo, Grandaughter, Hermelinda Peña and his siblings.  He is survived by his loving daughter, Diana Pacheco, as well as his devoted son, Ashton Pacheco and Michael Maes, and addition grandchildren Ashley Pacheco-Smith, Shawn Ferguson, Andrew Ferguson, Bryan Ferguson, Kyleigh Pacheco-Laredo, Rylee Pacheco-Laredo, Nixson Ferguson, Bane Ferguson, Ciria Ferguson, Reyna Peña, Angelica Peña, Geraldine Moreno, Shanita Buford-Hill, great great grandaughter, Adamaris Peña-Villalobos; and many more grandchildren, great grandchildren; Sister Ruth Montano and Theresa Navickas and a multitude of nieces and nephews who will carry his memory forward.
