Aleia "Lay-Lay" Lee Brown
January 7th, 2025 - June 16th, 2025
Loved beyond words, missed beyond measure
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of infant baby girl, Aleia "Lay-Lay" Lee Brown, who graced the world with her presence on January 7, 2025, in Houston, Texas. Aleia, cherished for her vibrant spirit and radiant smile, departed this life on June 16, 2025, in Lexington, Kentucky. Her time with us, though brief, was filled with joy and love.
Aleia is lovingly remembered by her devoted mother, Losheilah Brown, and her father, Corey Ruffin. She leaves behind a strong family network that includes her beloved grandmothers, Earline Brown and Edith Davis, as well as numerous aunties and uncles, each of whom played a significant role in her life, including Lenele, Leeann, Leekitita, Lenora, Lemara, Lee Antionette, Leah Brown, and uncles Quentin, Lee Oscar, Lee Roy III, Lee Terrance, Lee Johnathon, Uriel, and Lee Curtis Brown.
From an early age, Aleia was known for her kind heart and playful nature. She had a genuine curiosity about the world around her and loved to listen to her mother sing and watch television, finding joy in the simple pleasures of life. Her infectious laughter and bright personality made every moment spent with her a treasure. Aleia's spirit shone through her traits of energy, ambition, loyalty, honesty, and generosity. She was a light in the lives of those who had the privilege to know her, always quick with a smile that could brighten even the darkest days.
In honor of her memory, a ceremony will be held for family at Clark Legacy Center on Wednesday June 18, 2025.
In this time of grief, we invite you to hold her in your hearts and remember the joy she brought into our lives. Aleia may no longer walk among us, but her spirit will forever remain a part of us, serving as a reminder to cherish each day and the love we share. May her soul rest in eternal peace.
