Brandon Eugene Valdez

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our son, Brandon Eugene Valdez (Age 33), on May 14, 2025, following an extended illness.

He was born in Las Vegas, NM on July 28, 1991 to Oliver Saiz and Freda Perez.

Brandon attended La Cueva High School and later went on to work in the food industry. He enjoyed listening to music, watching cooking shows with his mom, camping trips with his dad and hanging out with his family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his maternal great grandparents, Antonio S. Baca and Lala D. Baca and paternal grandmother, Margie Saiz.

He is survived by his mother, Freda Perez (Ben) and his father, Oliver Saiz (Christine), brothers; Cristian Perez, Enrique Perez and Tomas Saiz (Noemi), sisters; Diamaris Perez and Elena Saiz; Maternal Grandparents, Rose Ann Baca and Alfred Valdez and Paternal Grandfather, Jose Saiz.

Aunts and Uncles; Rose Marie Baca (Isaac), Carrie Maez (Jonathon), Angelica Baca (Daniel), Amanda Elfrink, Steven Saiz (Mary), Johnny Saiz (Shirley), Gladys Garcia (Miguel), Coralee Maes (Dale) and numerous cousins, relatives and friends.

A special thank you to his grandmother, Rose Ann for never leaving his bedside.

A funeral mass will be recited at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 24th, 2025 at Immaculate Conception Church, 811 6th Street, Las Vegas NM 87701.

Arrangements were entrusted to Riverside Funeral Home. Cremation has taken place and burial will follow the mass at the San Antonio Cemetery. Urnbearers will be his brothers and sisters.
