James Leroy Hembree
November 4th, 1940 - June 12th, 2025
James “Jim” Leroy Hembree, 84 of Goose Creek. Passed on to glory June 12, 2025.Born November 4, 1940, in Swain County. Senior Chief Hembree devoted 30 years to our country in the US Navy. During his time he was apart of the Vietnam war among many other tours. Jim was a member of the Santee Cooper Bass Club with the love of hunting, fishing, woodworking, and anything outdoors. He was a mentor to many he dearly enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
Jim is survived by one brother Kenneth, 3 children, James G., Gary and Connie, 6 grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren along with many other family and friends.
Though his battle has came to an end his spirt remains among the mountains and streams he so cherished.
His celebration of life will be held Friday June 20th, 2025, at Simplicity from 2:00pm to 4:00pm.

Jim will be taking back home to Marble North Carolina for his final resting place.
