Mi Suk Gapinski, age 59, passed away peacefully on June 17, 2025, in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Born with a compassionate spirit and a steadfast heart, Mi Suk lived a life centered around family, community, and spiritual growth. She was a devoted practitioner of Soka Gakkai International-USA (SGI-USA) Buddhism, drawing strength and wisdom from her practice and sharing that light with those around her.
Mi Suk married the love of her life, Joe E. Gapinski, on July 10, 1987. Together, they built a life grounded in mutual respect, deep love, and shared purpose. She was a proud and loving mother to three sons—Damien Gapinski, James Gapinski, and Brian Gapinski—and a cherished mother-in-law to Lane Harris.
Though her presence will be deeply missed, the wisdom and warmth she shared will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
