Giovanni Alberto Ventura
January 3rd, 1980 - June 8th, 2025
Giovanni Alberto Ventura, a beloved father, son, brother, uncle and friend, has passed away peacefully on June 8, 2025, and is now home with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Giovanni was born on January 03, 1980 in the city of Salinas. Growing up in Salinas, he had built many relationships, he was loved by so many and always a man of faith always putting his trust and love to the Lord. Giovanni was a genuine person that always showed his authentic personality, always willing to help others with a smile on his face and displaying a positive attitude. Wherever Giovanni went people loved him for being himself. In Gio’s last years of life he resided in the city of Fresno where he continued to serve the Lord with his loyalty and faith. Giovanni built many relationships in Fresno, that the Lord delivered him a community that was considered as his second family. Giovanni is survived by his (only) son Nathan Ventura and his brother George Lawrence along with his nieces and nephew Annyssa, Ariel & George Lawrence Jr. Giovanni will forever be missed, but is finally home with the Lord, resting in peace.
1 John 3:1-3
1 See how great a love the Father has bestowed on us, that we would be called children of God; and such we are. For this reason the world does not know us, because it did not know Him. 2 Beloved, now we are children of God, and it has not appeared as yet what we will be. We know that when He appears, we will be like Him, because we will see Him just as He is. 3 And everyone who has this hope fixed on Him purifies himself, just as He is pure

We Entrusted Giovanni Ventura's Care To
Healey Mortuary
At Healey, we treat our Salinas Valley community members like family. Our story begins after World War II when Veteran Herbert C. Healey hoped to find a way to continue to meaningfully help his county and community grow. He and his wife founded Salinas Valley Mortuary in 1956 to help serve the families in the Salinas Valley area. Their lifelong mission was to unselfishly serve area families based on their strong, trusting relationship with their community – something we honor to this day almost seven decades years later....
