Brienda Lajoyce Sanders
May 18th, 1964 - June 7th, 2025
Brienda Lajoyce Sanders was born on May 18th, 1964, in Clarksdale Mississippi, to John (Janice) and Lillie Sanders-Brown (Rev. James Brown). Brienda was a devoted mother, a cherished daughter, a beloved sister, and a loyal friend. To know her was to know warmth, resilience, and joy. Her love ran deep- for her family, for music, and for the color red, which reflected her vibrant spirit. But above all, her greatest joy was found in the time she spent with her children and grandchildren. They were her pride, her joy, and the center of her world. Today, as we reflect on Brienda's life, let us honor her memory with gratitude for the love she gave, the laughter she shared, and the legacy she leaves behind. May we celebrate her life by carrying her light with us and continuing to love one another as fiercely as she loved us.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday June 27th, 2025 at 3:00 PM follow by a visitation 4:00 PM at Spielman Mortuary 344 University Ave W Saint Paul, MN 55103.

We Entrusted Brienda Sanders's Care To
Spielman Mortuary
Spielman Mortuary has been helping Saint Paul families since 1950 when Kenneth and Helen Spielman purchased the National Funeral Home. For over 30 years, the couple lived above the funeral home and took just one vacation. They sold the home in 1984 to the Willwerscheid family. We still operate Spielman Mortuary with the same traditions of pride, sensitivity, value, and attention to detail that the Spielmans followed for over three decades....
