Reflection of Life :

Rudolph Wesley Simmons, who has always had faith in God, is the second oldest of nine children born to Francess Anne Jordan. Rudolph entered this life on November 28, 1948 in Harlem NY.

 

Rudolph attended the New York State school system  where he graduated high school 2 years early. He then entered the workforce in the computer industry as a computer programmer.

 

In April 1969 he was joined in union with Georgia B (Johnson) Simmons, who preceded  him in death. From this union they were blessed with two daughters, Rayleen and Alicia.

Later in life he moved his family to South Carolina where he became a Trainer for the South Carolina Department of Corrections until he retired.

 

He resided in Moncks Corner SC until his appointment with the Lord on June 14, 2025.

"Rudy" was a very intellectual person and loved the arts and enjoyed spending quality time with his family. He also was an avid chess player and even taught others how to play. He spent time mentoring the youth and influencing his peers with thoughtful words of encouragement and advice.

 

Rudolph Wesley Simmons, loving husband to Georgia B Simmons who preceded him in death. He leaves to cherish his memories with his daughters; Rayleen Serah Wilson (Vincent), Alicia Hiatt (Roger) and bonus  daughter Sharon Barnes. Grandchildren; Bryanna Hiatt, Raven Hiatt and Wendell Wesley Wilson (precede in death). One great grandson; Gideon Kerr- Simmons. Sisters; Anna Marie Jordan, Priscilla Jordan-Fenter, Carole Jordan and Hilda Cox. Brothers: Johnathan Jordan and Robert Jordan. Preceded in death; Joseph Jordan and Charles Simmons. He also leaves a host of loving in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
