August 31st, 1952 - June 3rd, 2025
Samuel (Sam, Sammy) Carmack Woodham, was a lifelong resident of Bradenton, he passed away Tuesday June 3, 2025.Sam was born August 31, 1952, the 4th of 10 children, in Bradenton. He was a graduate of Southeast High School where he was captain of the band. He was an avid fisherman. For many years Sam was active in the Men’s Quartet and Choir at Woodland. Sam worked at Woolworth Co. and Yancey’s Dairy. He found his niche beginning as a teenager at Sherwin-Williams and retiring as Branch Manager of Finish Master Automotive Paint after over 30 years. Sam was very gregarious and loved being with people. He was preceded in death by Daughter, Brittany; parents, Dewey and Helen (Vaughn) Woodham; Brothers, Michael and Kurtis. He is survived by sisters Donna King, Susan Bassler(Gerald), Robbie Miller(William), Pamela, Beverly Ellis(Roger), Patricia Rehfeldt, brother Richard(Sherry) and 48 Nieces and Nephews.
A Celebration of Life service will be held 11:00AM June 28, 2025 at Woodland Community Church 9607 SR 70 East, Bradenton, FL.
