Mark was a dedicated mechanic, known for his hard work and meticulous attention to detail. He was someone who could fix just about anything, often with a smile on his face and a story to share. His passion for life was evident through his love of music; playing his guitar and listening to blues was where he found his joy, and he delighted in sharing tales of the “good old days” that kept everyone entertained.
Mark’s personality was truly one of a kind. He was kind, funny, generous, considerate, and honest – qualities that drew people to him. There was never a dull moment when Mark was around, and his contagious smile could brighten even the cloudiest days.
He is survived by his cherished daughter, Janie Taylor, his son, Jacob Taylor (Amber), and his beloved grandchildren: Maegan Calvert (Ryan), Adelynn Taylor, and Paisley Taylor, along with his great granddaughter, Brynlee Calvert. Mark also leaves behind a caring stepmother, Dawn Van Worth, and siblings Darell, Andy (Wendi), and Carol (Tod). His family extends to many nieces and nephews including Guslee, Andi, Jonathan, William, Samantha, Ryan, Debra, Magda, and Britton. Mark was preceded in death by his father, Gus Taylor, and mother, Carolyn Vitable, along with his brother Mike Taylor.
A celebration of life will be held on June 29, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. at Bayshore Park (Spillway). This will be a time for family and friends to share stories, laughs, and reminisce about the incredible person Mark was.
Mark will be sorely missed but fondly remembered by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. His spirit will live on in the memories he created and the love he spread throughout his life.
