Connar Alan Sundquist-Smith

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Connar Alan Sundquist-Smith on May 8, 2025, at the age of 33. Connar was born on February 4, 1992, in Phoenix, Arizona, to Gary Smith and Eva Sundquist.

Connar was lovingly raised by his paternal grandparents, Bill and Sharon Smith, along with his father, Gary Smith, who helped shape the man he became through their constant care, support, and guidance.

Connar is survived by the love of his life, Kelsey Berry, and his siblings: Garren Smith, Jonathan Kohl, Courtney Gavin, and Joseph Katz.  He was preceded in death by his brother, Nikolaus Hinton.  Connar cherished his role as a brother and friend.

He was surrounded by a loving extended family including aunts and uncles: Jenny (Smith) Madison (Josh and Delaney), Rob Smith (Kim, Amy, and Michael), and Vivian Kruger (Dave, Eric, and Maria).  His great-aunts and

uncles include: Janet (Smith) Doyle, Vertis Roberts, Virgil Roberts, Ronald Roberts, Gregory Roberts, and Rick Roberts. His maternal grandparents, Ann Aden and her late husband Landis Aden, and the late Roger Sundquist all held a cherished place in his life.

Those who knew Connar will remember his good heart, sense of humor, love for the Phoenix Suns, and his beautiful blue eyes.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, July 12, 2025, at 10:00 AM at Vineyard Church, located at 6250 W Peoria Ave, Glendale, AZ 85302.  A reception will follow.  All are welcome to attend, share stories, and honor

the life of a truly special man.

Though Connar's time here was far too short, the love he gave and the memories he created will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
