Jimmy Ray Jensen
March 26th, 1942 - June 18th, 2025
Jimmy Ray Jensen passed away peacefully on 18th of June 2025. He was born on the 26th of March 1942 to Evelyn Helen Jensen and Clarence Christian Jensen in Lyman Nebraska. Jimmy was the second oldest of six children, he grew up in western Nebraska and Northern Indiana, as an adult he lived in Northwest Indiana and Loveland Colorado.
It was in Gary Indiana that Jimmy met the love of his life Joyce Sheila Jensen, they were married on the 4th of February 1964 and were inseparable through thick and thin for 52 years together, Jimmy lost Joyce in 2016. Jimmy is survived by a brother and a sister, Jimmy and Joyce’s two daughters, Wendy Sue (Jensen) Banton and Desiree Gale Jensen, Four Grandchildren, Gibson, Devin, Rori, Masyn and 2 Great Grandchildren, Everleigh and Miles.
Jimmy Served his country aboard the USS Wrangell with the United States Navy before joining the US Pipefitters local 557 and beginning his lifelong passion as a Skilled tradesman building the infrastructure of this great nation. He was a great provider for his family, a loving father and husband. Jimmy enjoyed fast cars, motorcycles, Spending time outdoors fishing and hunting, always with his family. We deeply mourn his loss but are rejoiced that he is in heaven reunited with his beloved Joyce and at peace.
