Dana Kaye Kuz

Dana Kaye Kuz, age 68, passed away in Tucson, Arizona June 12, 2025. Dana was born in Victorville, California on January 11, 1957, to Clifford and Edythe Park. Dana grew up in a military family along with her two siblings. Dana married her sweetheart, Danny, in 1975. Dana became a Medical Assistant in 1976 and worked in Pediatrics and OB/GYN patient care in California and Arizona. She retired in 2022 after 46 years in healthcare. Dana enjoyed spending time with family and friends and had many fond memories taking camping trips, watching her girls grow up playing soccer, and meeting with work friends for Happy Hour. Dana was a patient, kind, and loving person who often put others first. Her smile could light up a room and personality put people at ease. She had many friends and was a good friend to all. Dana was an amazing mother and cared deeply for her family.

Dana is survived by her husband Danny Kuz of Oro Valley, AZ, her daughter Aimee Newberg and husband Tyler of Tucson, AZ, and their son and daughter Justin and Emma; Her daughter Ashley DiGiacomo and husband Mark of Oro Valley, AZ, and their daughter and son Edythe and Guy; Her brother Gayland Park and his wife Bonnie of Apple Valley, CA and their children Hayley Firebaugh of Prescott, AZ and Heather Park of San Clemente, CA.

Also, in loving memory of Brother Larry Park (deceased) Eagle Idaho, survived by; Wife Mony Park, Eagle Idaho; Son Lucas Park, Star Idaho, Wife Jacqui Park, and Son Logan, and Daughter Myah; Also survived by Larry’s Daughter Andrea Tilley, Meridian Idaho, and Husband Calvin Tilley.

A memorial service for Dana will be held at Ascension Lutheran Church and School in Tucson, AZ on Tuesday, July 8, 2025, at 9:30 AM Mountain Time. Prior to the memorial service, there will be a viewing scheduled for 9-9:20 AM at the same church location. Following the memorial service, the burial will take place at 12:00 PM at the Arizona Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery in Marana, AZ. A motorcycle escort will accompany the funeral party from the church to the cemetery.
