Michael "Ransom" Laughead, 27, of Kernersville, passed away on June 22, 2025. Born in Columbia, South Carolina, on February 16, 1998, Ransom is the only child of David Michael and Krystal D. Laughead.
Ransom had a great love for anything that had wheels: tractors, mustangs, diesel trucks or motorcycles. He had just picked up cooking and gardening. He loved to fish or spend time with his friends and family. If there was a bonfire, he was right there helping to start it up.
In addition to his parents, Ransom is survived by his grandmother, Kathy Aiello; and his great-grandparents, Hilda Edwards and Vernon Pike.
Ransom was preceded in death by his grandparents, David and Chris Laughead, and Gene Pike; his step-grandfather, Steve Aiello; and his great-grandparents, Oren Edwards and Margaret Pike.
The family will receive friends at Pierce-Jefferson Funeral Service, 213 W. Mountain St., Kernersville NC 27284 on Friday, June 27th, 2025 from 6:00PM-8:00PM.
In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make memorial contributions to a charity of their choice.
