Robert Byron Priddy

Robert Byron Priddy was born December 17th, 1930, tin Danville, Ill to Edward and Pauline (Long) Priddy. He passed loved by many on June 21st, 2025.
Robert married the love of his life Virginia Lee Olinger on September 26th, 1952, and were married for a beautiful 64 years.
Robert started his military service August 9, 1950 in the Army for 3 years until August of 1953. After working as a carpenter.
Robert faced significant challenges early in life, losing both of his parents his mother at the age of and his father at ten. Raised by stepparents, he often became the sole provider for his family. At the age 20, enlisted in the army and served his country during the onset of the Korean War. These experiences instilled him a strong work ethic and a drive to provide for others. An exceptionally skilled carpenter, he took great pride in his craft and in the home renovations he completed on the family's residences.
He passed on his expertise to three sons, teaching them his trade as they worked alongside him. Robert continued his work until the age of 72, doing what he loved most. He held a deep appreciation for nature and found joy in camping, fishing, and hunting. A dedicated patriot, he took in military service and remained well-informed about current events. He enjoyed conversation with others and always ready with a smile, a story, and a hearty. Robert be deeply missed by his family and many friends he throughout his life.

Roberts will be missed by many included Daughter: Carol Sanchez (Vince), Grandson: Mark Sanchez, Son :Robert Priddy (Deceased), Grandson: Matthew Priddy, Great Granddaughter: Madison, Son: Greg Priddy, Grandson: Justin(Tarah) Priddy, Great Grandchildren: Adi and Eli, Granddaughter: Andrea (Kevin) Kevin Smith, Granddaughter: Emily Priddy, Son: David Priddy (Carol), Granddaughter: Jessica (Tyler)Doran, Great Grandchildren: Jace, Noah, Drake and Dodger, Grandson: Ryan Priddy, Great Grandchildren: Lucy, Cal, Jack, Julian, Granddaughter: Racheal (Steve) Sumner, Great grandson: Zander, Daughter: Becky Priddy, Granddaughter: Nikki(Josh)Mendoza, Great Grandchildren: Isabella, Elia , Cameron, Carson.
