Stella Hudak passed away peacefully on June 24, 2025 at Jefferson Hospital after receiving last rites.  Born in the village of Tarnow, Poland in 1925, Stella led a simple life until the Nazis invaded Poland and, as a young woman, was sent into forced labor.  After World War ll ended, she chose to make a new life in the United States, where she eventually settled in New Jersey.  She married and had three daughters, namely, Christina, Barbara and Diane (Stan).  She was a homemaker and then worked for many years with the Trenton Board of Education.  After her husband, Nicholas, passed in 2004, she moved to Williamstown to live with and be lovingly cared for by her daughter, Barbara, until she was called home to the Lord.  She will always be remembered for her love for her daughters, her green thumb and her ability to bake and cook the best Polish food.  She is also survived by her grandchildren Sherri (Dean), Aimee (Taha), and Michael (Angela), her great-children Carlene, Allison, Evan, Aiden and Lily as well as her relatives living in the U.S. and Poland. Her service will be private.  If you wish to donate in her memory, please reach out to your local animal shelter or rescue group.
