George Marshall Webb
July 6th, 1935 - June 20th, 2025

George Marshall Webb, 89 years old of Beaufort, South Carolina passed away peacefully, on June 20, 2025 just short of his 90th birthday. He is survived by four out of five children, Kevin Webb (Diana), Kelly Webb (Magda), Derek Webb (Tina) and his only daughter Sheilah "Lovey" Tootla (Amod); his brother Harmon Webb and sister Joyce Graham. George had twelve grandchildren: Tiffany Webb, Justin Webb, Margo Webb, Chelsea Pitanguy, George Webb, Anastasia Webb, Dillon Webb, Ryan Webb, Anthony Webb, Kevin Webb, Vincent Webb, and Christina Webb. He also had three great-grandchildren, Maxim Webb, Sylas Webb, and Roman Webb. Although George was no longer married, his previous wife Barbara Webb “Babs” was a true friend throughout life.
George was predeceased by his parents, Dr. Harmon J. Webb and Mildred Ruth Cooper Webb; his sisters Lucy Webb and Virginia Vedder and his son Kory Webb (Jerry).
He was born in Detroit, Michigan, and was a graduate of Eastern Michigan University in Ypsilanti, Michigan. George lived his life like he wanted to. It was full of excitement, fun, laughter and drama. He was a great singer appearing in many TV productions over the years. He also was a wonderful actor, appearing in many live theater plays. His favorite singer was Judy Garland who he had the chance to meet while she was performing in Detroit, Michigan. George loved collecting beautiful art from all over the world and restoring old historical homes. He was an avid reader and loved to go to resale and antique shops to bargain. George was an English and Special Education teacher, and an entrepreneur. He also was a solo vocalist for many congregations of the Church of Christ, Scientist.
George will be missed for many generations to come. The memories will be cherished forever.
