Clark Legacy Center - Nicholasville
Barbara Jean Faulconer
May 13th, 1934 - June 28th, 2025
Barbara Jean Faulconer, 91, of Nicholasville, Kentucky entered Eternal Life on June 28, 2025. She is survived by her husband Ted after 70 years of marriage. She is also survived by their son Joe and daughter Mary June Ball and grandchildren, Jennifer, Leah, Whitney, and Russell, and 6 great grandchildren.
She was born in Ashland, Kentucky to her parents, Charles and June Reliford who preceded her in death along with brothers, Junior and Paul and sister, Marlene.
She attended Eastern Kentucky University and graduated from Transylvania University. She received a master's degree in education from Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio. She taught in several grade schools in Kettering, Ohio, where three of her principals said she was the hardest working and most devoted teacher that they had ever had.
Her passion was her family. She loved every one of them so much and never forgot their birthdays, graduations, anniversaries, and special events in their lives with cards and phone calls. Her grandchildren were the “light of her life.”
Barbara’s legacy will live on through the lives of those she touched and the love she gave. We will continue to feel her presence, her beauty, and her love.
Services are being held on Thursday, July 3rd at Clark Legacy Center-Brannon Crossing, 601 E. Brannon Rd., Nicholasville, Kentucky. Visitation will take place from 12:30 pm until 1:30 pm. Rev. Jerry Shepard will officiate her funeral, which will begin at 1:30 pm. Burial will follow at Blue Grass Memorial Gardens.
