Emma M Harrington
February 17th, 1956 - June 19th, 2025
Emma M. Harrington, 69 of West Columbia, South Carolina passed unexpectedly at home surrounded by her family on Thursday, June 19, 2025. She was born on February 17, 1956, in Bradford, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Florence Cordilla Cramer and Herman Joseph Harrington.
Emma married Clyde Kepler, Jr. on November 24, 1972, and they had three children: Rose Marie Kepler, Caren Lynette Kepler and Joseph Linwood Kepler. In 1997, she remarried to Russell Harrington.
She loved rock and roll and country music. She also liked coloring and drawing barns and horses and buying baby dolls that looked “real.” She loved horses and absolutely loved and adored her family.
She is survived by her daughter, Caren Kepler Eddy, her son, Joseph Kepler, her stepson, Cody Kepler, 17 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, six brothers: Richard J. Harrington, Robert J. Harrington, Michael J. Harrington, and Ronald J Harrington of Jamestown, NY, Herman J Harrington of Buffalo, NY, Larry Harrington of South Dayton. Five sisters: Elizabeth Lawrence, Florence Chapman, Gloria Kepler, Cristina Applegate, all of Jamestown, NY, and Barbara Harrington of Warren, PA, several nieces and nephews and her mother, Florence Cordilla Hopkins of Dunkirk, NY.
She was predeceased by her daughter, Rose Marie Havers of Jamestown, NY, her father, Herman Joseph Harrington, her sisters, Patricia Hail, Mary Kindred, Eloise Paulson, grandparents, Elizabeth and Guy Gostomski, and Emma J Emerson Cramer, two nieces, Maria Russo and Tina Bemis, two nephews, Sam Russo, Eric Mitchell, all of Jamestown, NY and two stepfathers, Alfred Johnson and Wayne Hopkins.
