Patty L. Dostie 82, of Midline Road Amsterdam entered eternal life on June 27, 2025, at her

residence. She was born in Amsterdam, New York on August 27, 1942, the daughter of the

late John and Elizabeth Osterhoudt Ammerall.

Pat was a 1960 graduate of Wilbur H Lynch high school. She was formerly employed by

Amsterdam Printing and Litho Corp. and Mohasco Corp. Lastly, she was employed as a

legal secretary for Lewis, Kaehler, Bates & Angle law firm in Schenectady, New York for 19

years until retiring.

She was predeceased by her husband, Robert M. Dostie whom she married on September

9, 1962. Survivors include two daughters: Lynn M. Valikonis and Dawn M. (Richard)

Vinciguerra, one brother: John (Yvonne) Ammerall, two grandsons, Robert T. Olsen and

John M. Valikonis.

Funeral services which relatives and friends are invited to attend will be held on July 7,

2025 at the Betz, Rossi, Bellinger & Stewart Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Avenue,

Amsterdam NY 12010. A calling hour will be held from 1 PM to 2 PM at the funeral home

prior to the service at 2 PM. Burial will be immediately following in Fairview Cemetery,

Amsterdam. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
