In Loving Memory
Samuel "Sam" Francis Martin, Jr, 87, went to be with the Lord on June 29, 2025. He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Ina Ruth Davis; his son, Scott A. Martin; and his wife of 64 years, Caroline H. Martin.
He is survived by his son, Frank Martin and wife, Vicky; his four grandchildren, Drank Franklin, Tyler Franklin, Elizabeth Martin, and Jacob Martin; and his great-grandchild, Arya Franklin.
Sam was very active in his church, Main Street Methodist Church, and enjoyed teaching Disciple Bible Study. He participated in the Presbyterian Pilgrimage Movement and Kairos Prison Ministry. He was a retired mechanical engineer.
A memorial service will be held at Main Street United Methodist Church, 306 S Main St, Kernersville, NC 27284 on Saturday, July 5th, 2025 at 2:00PM followed by interment and a reception.
