It is with sad hearts that we announce the departure of our beloved husband, father, and grandfather, Oleh Fostiak.

He went to St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Elementary School, DePaul High School, and graduated from Chicago Technical College with an Electrical Engineering Degree.

In 1967, Oleh went to Officers Training School in Lackland AFB, TX, and in 1969 married his beloved Kathy.

In 1969, Oleh and Kathy transferred to Hanscom Field AFB in Bedford, Mass where he workedfor the Air Force as an Engineer. In 1974, he was transferred to Kirkland AFB in Albuquerque, NM, where his first daughter, Tanja Fostiak (Lawson) was born.
