It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Robert “Bob” Edward Williams, 79, of Wellington, CO, who passed away peacefully on June 28th, 2025, surrounded by family. Bob lived a life filled with love, devotion, and kindness. He was a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather whose legacy will continue to live on in all of us who were blessed to know him. A memorial service will be held in celebration of Bob’s life at the Westminster Presbyterian Church in Fort Collins, CO, on Tuesday, July 15th at 2:30 pm. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Harvest Farm, part of the Fort Collins Rescue Mission

Bob thoroughly enjoyed an active life filled with friends, faith, and adventures in the great outdoors. Together with his wife, Jennifer, he taught his kids and grandkids to appreciate many things in life, including traveling, camping, hiking, canoeing, and…mosquitos! During his high school years in Pennsylvania (Aliquippa ’63), he played trombone and ran cross country. He kept running in college as he earned a degree in math (Westminster ’67) and eventually his MBA (Western Michigan University ’82). Later in life, Bob dusted off that trombone and started the Wellington town band. Whether he was traveling the world with Jennifer, watching trains at the depot, participating in a book club, playing chess with the guys, volunteering at his church, starting a new town tradition, or striking up a conversation with a stranger, Bob was always interested in building community. He was committed to living a life in service to others, and he will be greatly missed by many.

Bob is preceded in death by his parents, Harry Williams and Hazel Barr Williams, and his brothers, Raymond, Ronald, and Harry Williams Jr..

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Jennifer Miller Williams, who was his first and only dance partner through life. He is also survived by his three children and their spouses; Courtney Williams Barrón and Nelda Barrón, Curtis and Jama Williams, and Christopher and Caitlin Williams; and nine grandchildren; Roberto (Pedro) Barrón, Tatiana Barrón, Antonio Barrón, Yessenia Barrón, Adeline Williams, Roma Williams, Ember Williams, Smith Williams, and Christopher Robert (Kit) Williams.
