Robin A. Coalter
December 31st, 1955 - June 27th, 2025
Mrs. Robin A. Coalter age 69 of Johnstown, New York, passed away June 27, 2025 at Albany Medical Center after a long illness.
She was born on December 31, 1955 in Gloversville, the daughter of the late Raymond J Lavallee and Helen Walker Lavallee. She was a 1975 graduate of Gloversville High School. Robin work for the Leader Herald and Gloversville for a number years and was later employed by Nathan Littauer Hospital and Gloversville from where she retired after many years of service.
On September 26th 1981 she married Robert H. Coalter, who she loved and enjoyed life with for 44 years. Robin was a kind, generous and caring person with a fun-loving personality. She was loved dearly by her friends, neighbors, families, and members of her husband, Bob's family. She was a gift from God.
Robin loved to bake, cook and Garden. She is so gracefully shared the fruits of her labor with her family and friends. Her favorite holiday was Christmas and she, with Bob's help would bake and share gifts of cookie platters and sweets to many folks in the community. Everyone always look forward to Rob's treats.
She was predeceased by her parents, her brother, John Lavallee and several beloved family members. Besides her husband, she survived by her two sisters, who were by her side through life and her illness, Diane M, Rudolph of Cape Coral, Florida, and Antoinette “Tony” Kearney of Saratoga Springs. She is also survived by several nieces, Nephew's, cousins and her cat, Gray. She so enjoyed receiving the sweet artwork and gifts that her three-year-old great nephew Maxwell frequently sent to her.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, July 3, 2025 at 11 AM at the Ferndale Cemetery in Johnstown with Fr. Lawrence C. Anderson, O.F. M. Memorial contributions may be made in Robin's memory to the American heart Association at www.heart.org or to the Brennan Humane Society 437 9 Mile Tree Road Gloversville, NY 12078.
