Adrian Allen, age 77, passed away unexpectedly on June 18, 2025. Born in England on May 4,1948, Adrian moved to the United States at a young age.

Adrian was the first graduating class of John Glenn High School in Westland, MI. After graduation he married his first wife Nancy and they had 3 boys. Adrian was a veteran of the United States Army and served as a supply Sergeant in Vietnam.

Among his many talents Adrian was a very accomplished Bowler and Softball player. His passion for bowling led him to become a bowling coach and coordinate/run arguably the best youth bowling program in the area. Affectionately known as simply “A” he worked at Town n Country Lanes where he touched the lives of so many young bowlers. It wasn’t just the youth bowlers that he had an impact on, it was also the countless people who worked with and around him during these years. They got to see the quick wit and charisma that Adrian possessed. In softball he loved coaching more than he actually did playing. Although he was one of the better players he loved simply being known as “da Coach.” Coaching was a part of who he was. He always wanted to put others first. Whether it be in bowling, softball, or on the lake driving the boat for his boys, nieces and nephews, he tried to make sure others were the focus of attention rather than himself. It was his leadership and selfless behavior that endured many to him. He was creative and thoughtful and would always go the extra mile on even the smallest details. His love for sports was passed on to his boys who have all become avid bowlers in their time. And his love and pride for his boys never wavered during the years.

He worked for Manufacturers Bank for years where he met and ultimately married his wife Patricia, who he remained married for 32 years until his untimely death. Adrian and Patricia moved to Florida in 2002 and loved their time near the waters in the Tampa/St. Pete area.

Adrian is preceded in death by his parents Sydney and Deborah. His mother Deborah, known simply as Jo to many, passed away less than two weeks before Adrian. He is survived by his loving wife Patricia, his sister Barbara (Rex), his sons Jerry (Hilda), Jim (Elena), and Jeff (Brittany). Along with grandchildren Katie (Corbin), Hannah, Alix, Dallas, Lucas, Zoey, Zane and Valerie. Great grandchildren Krew, Kade, and Matteo. Also survived by many more family and friends.
