John Bradford Apjoke “Sonny”, 78 of Northglenn, Colorado passed away on Sunday, June 22, 2025.

Born on October 17, 1946, in Idaho Springs, Colorado, “Sonny” was the first son of the late John and Pearl LaVonne (O’Brien) Apjoke. He graduated from Sheridan High School in 1964 and left soon after for the Army where he was stationed in Germany for several years. “Sonny” was an Army Veteran and later a salesman, living in Colorado for most of his life. He retired working in Blackhawk, Colorado working at Bullwhackers casino.

He is survived by his children, John Jr. and wife (Katherine) of Broomfield, CO, and Jennifer of Woodbridge, VA; his grandchildren, Michael, Emeilia, and David; 7 Great-Grandchildren.

We will miss Dad’s witty sense of humor and the love he had for his family.

Ephesians 3:17-19 KJV

That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, 18May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; 19And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fullness of God.
