September 13th, 1940 - June 30th, 2025
Mr. Paul Dean VanWagner, age 84, a resident of Auburndale, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, June 30, 2025, at home. Mr. VanWagner was born September 13, 1940, in Kendallville, Indiana to Basil and Lucille Edna (Beiswanger) VanWagner. He was a Polk County resident since 1994 coming from Indiana. Paul retired after 25 years as a Custodial Cast Member for Walt Disney World Orlando. He was a member of the Church of God in Winter Haven and a member of the Shriner’s. Paul enjoyed playing bingo, popcorn, ice cream, fishing, sports, playing euchre, going on Disney cruises and loved spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents and 3 brothers – Duane, Gale & Jack. Paul is survived by his loving family, wife of 64 years – Karen VanWagner; 2 sons – Randy (Lisa) VanWagner & Ryan (Kate) VanWagner; 2 daughters – Robin (Michael) Clarke & Rochelle (Jeff) Rabold; sister – Beverly (Tim) Shriner; 9 grandchildren – Kaitlyn, Kristen, Luke, Sayler, Bodey, Dan (Caitlin), Christopher (Emily), Gillian & Joshua; 4 great grandchildren – River, Monty, Hannah & Sarah. A celebration of Paul’s life will be held 2pm Sunday, July 6th at the Church of God, 3025 US Highway 92, Winter Haven.
