James "Jim" Clarence Keller left us far too soon on July 1, 2025, at the age of 72. Born on September 26, 1952, in Miami, Oklahoma, he touched many lives throughout his remarkable journey. Jim was a dedicated family man and a proud patriarch. He is preceded in death by his loving parents, Retha and Max Keller, and his sister, Judy. He leaves behind his devoted wife, Diane Keller, whose love was his greatest treasure. As a proud father, Jim cherished his daughters: Emily and husband Sam, Elizabeth and husband Keith, and Sarah and husband Josh. His legacy lives on in the hearts of his beloved grandchildren: Zoe and husband Abi, Michael, Joseph, Ryan, Shiloh and husband Zion, JoAnna, Jonathan, Jubilee, Matthew, and Sophia. He was also a proud great-grandfather to Maxine, bringing immense joy to his family. He is also survived by his sister, Janice and niece Abby and nephew Jeff.

Jim graduated from Seneca High School and went on to serve his country with honor as a Master Sergeant in the U.S. Air Force. After his military career, he continued to serve the community as a bus driver with Sacramento Regional Transit. His work ethic and dedication to service were admired by many. Known for his generous spirit and a sarcastic sense of humor, Jim loved the outdoors—whether he was fishing, hunting, or tending to his garden. He was a fervent sports enthusiast, often found cheering for his favorite teams especially when his grandkids were playing. Jim had an opinion on how to fix anything and was all-around handy.

A memorial service to honor Jim's life will be held on Saturday, August 2, 2025, at 1 PM at the Bethel Missionary Baptist Church, located at 7309 34th Street, North Highlands, CA 95660.  Final internment will occur later this year at the Swars Prairie Church of Christ Cemetary, in Seneca Missouri.

Though our hearts are heavy with the loss of Jim, we find solace in the many wonderful memories he created with us. He will be dearly missed, but his spirit will forever live on in the laughter of his grandchildren and the love of his family. Rest in peace, Jim/Dad/Pop. Your legacy of love and generosity will always be remembered.
