Eugene Sadlowski, 87, passed away peacefully on June 24, 2025, in Yuba City, CA. A devoted husband, father, grandfather, veteran, and businessman, Gene lived a life marked by service, dedication, and quiet strength.
Born on January 1, 1938, in Pittsfield, MA, to a family of twelve children, Gene was the son of Edward and Stella Sadlowski.
His early years on the farm laid the foundation for a life defined by hard work and commitment to family and country.
Gene served with distinction in the United States Air Force for eight years of active duty. He continued his military service in the USAF Reserves and retired after a total of 20 years with the rank of Master Sergeant. His time in uniform reflected his deep sense of duty and patriotism.
Following his military career, Gene built a successful path as an insurance agent and business owner.
Over five decades in the industry, he earned the trust of clients and colleagues alike through his integrity and professionalism.
A resident of Yuba City, CA, for over 50 years, Gene was a faithful parishioner at Saint Isidore Catholic Church for over half a century.
His enduring presence within the parish community was a testament to his steadfast faith.
Outside of work and worship, Gene had a strong love of flying. A lifelong private pilot, he enjoyed weekend flights across Northern California.
Gene was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Lynne; as well as his parents, Edward and Stella. He is survived by his three sons, Michael, John, and Todd; and four grandchildren, Matthew, Stephen, Krysta, and Justyn.
His love for family was unwavering. He was a kind and caring husband, father, and grandfather whose legacy lives on through those who knew him best.
A Visitation will be held on July 8, 2025, from 4 PM to 6 PM at Ullrey Memorial Chapel, 817 Almond St.
