Fred Wayne Green
December 4th, 1943 - July 2nd, 2025
Fred Wayne Green, 81, husband of Mae Smith Green, passed away surrounded by his family, on Wednesday, July 2, 2025 at St Joe Hospital in Lexington. A native of Versailles, he was born on December 4, 1943 to the late Fred Sherman and Flora Mae Smith Green. Fred was a supervisor with Kullman and a Veteran of the US Army.
In addition to his wife, Fred is survived by his children, Michele Menshouse, and Sherman Green (Mary); his step-children, Melanie Coyle (Jonathan) and Amy Gaines; his grandchildren, Daniel Goodrich (Lindsey), Austin Pedavoli (Michael), Riley Green, Bailey Green, Josie Coyle, Alexander Coyle, Benjamin Coyle, Molly Gaines, and Parker Gaines; and his Beloved Pet, Buck.
Memorial Service will be held at 4:00pm on Tuesday, July 8, 2025 at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd with Rev. Carl Jones officiating. Visitation will be held from 2:00pm until the time of service on Tuesday, July 8, 2025 at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd.
