Cheryl Lynn Trinidad
August 20th, 1948 - June 27th, 2025
Cheryl came into this world quietly at under 3 pound and 12 weeks early. She fought and won that battle and many, many more throughout her life. She was always a survivor.
Five years after she was born, she was joined by sister Robin Doucette and her father was blessed with her brothers, John Fletcher and later Robert (Bob) Fletcher. She was loved by each and loved them.
At 10 Cheryl met her best and lifelong friend, Norma Moore. It was a blessing for her and a friend forever.
Four years later, at 14, she met and fell for the love of her life-Daniel Trinidad. Her love for him never dimmed and only grew stronger every day for their 59 years of marriage. Neither would quit the other. It was a beautiful, forever love between them. A bond never to be broken.
Cheryl and Daniel had three children. Michael Trinidad, Donald Trinidad and Crystal Green. She was very proud of the successes of her children and encouraged and helped every way she could. Her favorite activities were fishing (and falling in) Bill and Carolyn Hull finally started hitting fish farms for her to catch fish. She loved the power and beauty of thunderstorms, the first flakes of a snowfall, the sound and smell of rain outside, the sights and smells of the mountains, her roses and relaxing on her porch. Cheryl loved books and enjoyed talking about them. She had to read every menu twice because she loved the descriptions of the food. She also loved reading and saving recipes and trying new ones on us which was always an adventure, and she could laugh about that. Christmas was her favorite holiday because she was so excited to give out the personal, thoughtful gifts she had gotten us all to see our happiness. She loved springtime and early summer.
She had a beautiful laugh and smile. She loved with every fiber of her being. She was kind, loving and a true blessing to all who knew her. She brightened our lives however she could.
Her final word was a clear and loud ‘Mom’. She is not alone and has just moved to the next place. She’ll be waiting for us with all the love she can embody.
She is survived by her children: Michael (Melody) Trinidad, Donald (Pinky) Trinidad and Crystal (Kevin) Green.
She was blessed with grandchildren: Brandon Green, Dustin Green, Amber and Alex
Campbell, Lily Ezra Trinidad, Sarabeth Hawthorne, Jessica and Justin Sterling, Emily Trinidad, Kira, Xavy, Alex, Max and Arabella Trinidad. Juniper Sterling, Reagan Campbell and Aria Green joined as her great grandchildren. The laughter of the children brought her so much joy.
You will be loved forever. You are missed more than you know. I love you forever Mom.

Accent Funeral Home
A local landmark in Meridian, Accent Funeral Home has been serving the community since 1986. The business was first established with a vision to offer services in a comfortable, homelike atmosphere. This vision is reflected in our building, a Tudor-style home built in 1938 for a local postman. When remodeling the house to accommodate the funeral home, much care was taken to preserve the original architectural integrity of the building. The Accent Funeral Home holds a special relationship with the Meridian community and is sensitive to the area’s changing needs, providing service and friendship to comfort those we serve....
