Judith Ann Rott, was born in Aberdeen, SD on 10/11/1946 to Anton and Evelyn Jung. Judy moved to Jamestown, ND when she was 5 years old. She married in 1965 and soon after started a family. She lived on her family farm south of Jamestown for most of her life. In 2000, she moved to Arizona to retire. She passed away 06/21/2025 in her home in Gilbert, AZ surround by family and friends.
Judy is survived by her husband, of nearly 60 years, Lyle Rott, her younger brother James Jung (Peggy), her son Stephen Rott (Keith), her daughter Debbie Parries (Jeff), and grandsons Kyle Parries and Austin Parries.
Her last 10 months were spent residing with her husband at her daughter's house in Yakima, WA. She was determined to spend her remaining time under the care and company of her beloved grandsons, gardening, and surrounded by pets. You could often find her relaxing outside with a cat or two on her lap, and a dog by her side. She returned to AZ for a quick trip, and lost her 3&1/2 year battle to cancer while saying goodbye to 25 years of friendships.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you share a favorite memory or picture online. Cards can also be sent to Lyle Rott at 351 High Point Landing Yakima, WA 98901.
