Charles "Larry" Lawrence Ryel
August 24th, 1939 - July 6th, 2025
In Loving Memory of Charles L. Ryel ("Larry")
It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of our beloved father, Charles L. Ryel—affectionately known as “Larry.” He left us peacefully on July 6, 2025, at the age of 85.
Larry was born on August 24, 1939, in Orange, California. A proud veteran, he honorably served his country in the United States Airforce before dedicating his life to serving others through a long and meaningful career in both law enforcement and the medical field.
Larry found joy in the outdoors, fishing, hunting, camping and spending time with family and friends. He especially loved fishing and camping with his sons Scott and Paul, and grandson Jordan. Wherever he went, you could count on his faithful sidekick, Sadie, by his side.
He is survived by his four children: Scott (Julie), Paul (Jen), Dorothy (Lonnie), and Mike; as well as his grandchildren, great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, and close friends. He was preceded in death by his sister, Bonnie, and his parents, Naomi and Charles.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, July 28th at 10:00 a.m. at Marsing-Homedale Cemetery, 4410 Cemetery Road, Marsing, ID. A memorial celebration of Larry's life will follow immediately after the service.
We will forever miss Larry and hold his memories dear in our hearts.
We love you and will miss you!
