Chase Michael Yoachum

Chase Michael Yoachum, 13, of Sewell, New Jersey, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, June 23, 2025. 

Legacy

Chase touched so many people’s lives in his short time with us, he had friends everywhere, at school, on the field and in his neighborhood.  His kind and beautiful heart is what we’re going to miss the most. No one, that full of life should be taken like this.  It’s unfair, it’s devastating, and it leaves us with questions we’ll never be able to answer. We will remember Chase as a talented athlete, with a heart of gold.  He loved to play soccer, wrestling, baseball, a member of the track team and a Boy Scout.

Family

He is the beloved son of Colleen (nee Caputo) and Michael Yoachum.  Dear brother of Elaina and Cole.  Precious grandson of Elaine and Richard Caputo, the late Elizabeth and late William Ehresmann, and Michael J. Yoachum.  Treasured nephew of Karen Caputo (Jim), Alyce Gontz, and Donna Lanatto.  Cherished cousin of Eric (Mollie), Jessica, Kimberleigh, Kaitlyn, Alyson, Jerry, Dominic, Lucas, and Carly.  He will be greatly missed by all of his teammates, friends, and extended family.

Farewell Tribute

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing Tuesday, July 15th from 4:30PM to 7:30PM and Wednesday, July 16th from 10:30AM to 11:45AM in the Saints Peter and Paul R.C. Church, 362 Ganttown Road, Turnersville, NJ 08080.  Funeral Mass at 12:00PM.  Interment to Follow in Wenonah Cemetery, Wenonah, New Jersey.
