Ronnie Gene Lewis, age 83, of Colorado Springs, CO, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loved ones on June 29, 2025.
Ronnie lived a life defined by dedication, hard work, and deep love for his family. A proud veteran, he served honorably in the United States Army. After his service, he spent many years on the road as a truck driver for EEE Trucking, where he was known for his strong work ethic and friendly spirit.
Ronnie's greatest joy came from his family. He is survived by his beloved daughter, Shelley, as well as his cherished grandchildren: Nicold Chaney, Rachel Venetucci, and Cody Laber. His legacy continues through several great-grandchildren who will grow up hearing stories of his kindness, strength, and gentle humor.
In remembrance of Ronnie's life, the family kindly asks that, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations and contributions be made directly to the family.
Ronnie will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. His memory will live on in the hearts of those he loved and who loved him in return.
