With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Phillip Rogers on July 3rd, 2025. Phillip Rogers {Phil} was born in Eugene Oregon on 01-25-1944 his parents were Gideon Rogers and Una Fulkerson. He grew up in The Dalles Oregon where he learned to love the great outdoors. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, target shooting, and sightseeing all around the back roads. Phil joined the Navy and served 3 years and loved his time while serving. He got to spend a year in Iceland which he really enjoyed! He got married and had a large family. He supported his family while working at Portland Memeorial Funeral Home and Mausoleum for 42 years. Plus, he was a very hardworking man and did many side jobs on his free time. He had many hobbies and had a passion for wood working. He got to enjoy his last few years at Tanner Spring Assisted living facility where he made many friends! Phil was loved by many residents and staff members. We are all going to miss him dearly! Phil is survived by his wife Darlene Rogers, kids and grandchildren. He made a special mark on this earth that no one will ever forget. Ther will be no formal service. Prayers for the family will be appreciated.
