With broken hearts, we announce the passing of Wesley “Kyle” Gautney, who left this world too soon at the age of 41. Kyle was a beloved son, husband, brother, uncle, and friend. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, July 13, 2025 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Heritage Memorial Funeral Home, where we will gather to celebrate the joy Kyle brought into our lives and the light he shared even in the midst of darkness.
Born in Warner Robins, Georgia, Kyle was known for his deep love for family and animals. He loved fiercely, gave freely, and was always present for others, even during his own times of struggle. Always quick with a joke, he often claimed he was both the most athletic sibling and Mom’s favorite child—a playful spirit that endeared him to everyone who knew him.
Kyle lived with internal battles that he faced with strength, courage, and vulnerability. He was so much more than his struggle: a creative soul, a loyal friend, a devoted son, and a child of God, worthy of love, compassion, and redemption.
He leaves behind a family who loved him unconditionally and never stopped hoping for peace and healing. That peace, at last, has come.
Kyle is survived by his father, Larry, his wife, Patrice, his daughter, Allison, his brothers, Derek, Lance and Dusty, and his sisters, Brandy and Becky, and all his nephews and nieces. He is preceded in death by his beloved mother, Cindy, whom he missed dearly.
In honor of Kyle’s memory and his deep love for animals, the family asks that donations be made to Pawsome Southern Rescue in his name. Pawsome Southern Rescue, 163 Davidson Rd, Bonaire, GA 31005
