Pedro Sanchez Payan, 60, born on September 27, 1964 in Chihuahua, Mexico, son of Hortencia Payan.  He unexpectedly passed away Friday, June 27, 2025. He finished some of high school as he had to get out to work to help his family. He came to the United States in his 20s. He moved around a lot to wherever there was enough work. Also, just because he loved to explore and experience different places. But his primary home was in Greeley, Colorado. His passion was anything construction so he worked various jobs with various job roles. He loved to learn new skills. He loved his seafood. He was a hardworking man basically working since he was a teenager. But, he loved to work and keep moving

He loved everything about nature. He loved to fish, swim, kayak, and much more. He even owned his own boat. He also loved cooking mostly anything. He loved his seafood. He also enjoyed doing home projects like flooring, painting, carpentry, etc. Our favorite memories are the spontaneous dance parties we would have and fishing days. He was a free soul always going with the flow and enjoying every day. He did not have one angry bone in his body, he was always happy with the simple things and life he had. He was very friendly and an inviting person to whoever he met. He was genuine and kind in ways we rarely see others be. His presence, humor, and kindness will be missed.

Surviving are his wife Maria Medrano; children, Daniela Sanchez, Jose Sanchez, and Julieta Sanchez Medrano; his grandchildren, Jazlyne, Jocelyn, Xochitl, Jesus, and Camila; his sisters, Irma, Patricia, Miriam, Graciela; his brothers, Alfredo and Lucio. And some much more family that cared for him so much.
