Mae Lynn P Nelson – 88, Kernersville, North Carolina, died July 8, 2025.

 

She was born in North Carolina to the late Kirus E. and Lettie M. Page.

 

Mae worked for Adam Millis Corporation in Kernersville in various positions for many years.  She married Albert Nelson on January 30, 1954.  Mae will be remembered by many for her friendly demeanor and social attributes.  In her later years she enjoyed cooking for friends.  The residents at Mountain View Senior Apartments became her second family.

 

Mae is survived by her daughters, Angie Nelson and Judy (Doug) Kiger; 2 granddaughters, Michelle (Jeremy) Bates and Jennifer Kiger; grandson, Justin (Nicole) Nelson; 6 great-grandchildren, Alyssa, Dylan, Ava, Maxton, Maddie, and Mason.

 

She is preceded in death by parents, 2 brothers and 3 sisters.

 

Cremation will be performed by Pierce-Jefferson Funeral and Cremation Services in Kernersville.  Final resting place will be at Eastlawn Gardens of Memory in Kernersville.

 

A Celebration of Life Service will be scheduled at a later date.
