Adrian Paul Price. 92 years old. 

Adrian Paul Price went to be with his Lord on July 5, 2025, in Tucson, Arizona, while surrounded by family. Adrian was born in 1932 in Sayre, Pennsylvania to Samuel L. Price and Louise F. Lewis Price. He graduated from Vestal School District in 1952 and lettered in Football.

 

He served in the U. S. Navy during the Korean War, from 1952-1956. Navy service was aboard the USS Whitemarsh LSD 8 as Boiler-Operator Helper. He received the Navy Occupation Service Medal, Good Conduct Medal and National Defense Service Medal while serving in Korea. At the end of his military service, when the ship returned to the United States, he sustained a leg injury aboard ship. Once discharged, he returned home by hitch-hiking from Washington state all the way back to New York with his leg in a cast. Following military service, he became a member of the Vestal Police force. Later he became employed by the Vestal School District, working as a bus driver, night watchman, and serving as Head Custodian, retiring with 34 years of service.

 

He married Georgianna Ruth Bailey in 1958. Adrian is predeceased by his parents Samuel L. Price and Louise F. Price (Lewis), brothers Wayne (Elma), Samuel (Sandy) and his son Keith (Patty). He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Georgianna, brother John (Liz) and Carol Tower. Surviving children are:  Adrian/Buck Bailey (Kristi), Dale (Diane), Karl (Penny), Vickie, and Wendy. Surviving grandchildren are: Nathan (Lauri), Amanda (Josh), Courtney (Megan), Keith Jr. (Sara), Anna, Joe, Jessica, Amanda, Jonathan, Kaitlin (Rose), and Zachary. Surviving great grandchildren are: Mason, Adam Joseph (aka AJ), Reanna, Leonard, Riley, Mimi, Colbin, Delilah, Richard, Elainah, Kasie, and Pat. Surviving great-great grandchildren are Galaxy and Pharoah.

 

Adrian was a devout Christian and enthusiast of airplanes and aviation. As a young man, he obtained his pilot's license and enjoyed flying his Piper J3 Cub. He also owned an Aeronca Chief which he bought from his father. He enjoyed several trips to Osh Kosh (EAA) and the Old Rhinebeck Aerodrome for the annual airshows held there. In between working and family obligations, Adrian attended and graduated from Practical Bible Training School. He filled in for his church pastor on many occasions. Adrian was a devoted husband and family man, he enjoyed taking rides and traveling with Georgianna. He especially enjoyed Christmas and other family gatherings, where the house would be full of kids, grandkids and other family members and friends who would always be welcomed with jokes. good cheer, and hearty meal.
