Faustino "Tino" De La Rosa passed away on June 23, 2025, in Aurora, Colorado, at the age of 76. He was born in Tempe, Arizona, to Mary and Faustino in April of 1949. He was a proud Vietnam Combat Airborne Army Veteran who served two tours for his country. A strong man of honor, receiving multiple medals that include a Bronze Star, 2 Purple Hearts, and an Army Commendation medal. Beyond his Army days, he was a loving husband to his wife Virginia De La Rosa for 48 years as they created a fun, loving life of adventure as they traveled to many places around the world together.

 

Faustino was a loving husband, son, brother, father, grandfather, great grandfather. He was survived by his wife, Virginia; children Alex, Maile, Eleanor (Princess), Frank (Chino), Gina, and Ralph; siblings Gil and Linda; grandchildren, Monique, David, Anthony, Rico, Maikah, Dionicio, Faustino, & many more; great-grandchildren, Zavian, Laciano, Elliya, Enzo, Alex Jr, Adalyn, Natalee, Noah, Iyanna, Bella, Ivy, & many more. He was preceded in death by Mary (mother), Faustino (father), Sally (sister), Dion (son), Andrew (son), & Noriah (great-granddaughter). He enjoyed traveling the world, watching sports, especially baseball, watching movies, especially Western movies or any movies with John Wayne, fishing, camping, and having a cold one listening to his favorite oldies. 

 

Faustino lived life to the fullest, and his generosity, kindness, fun, and loving, pure heart of a soldier will forever be missing in our family, but we will carry his memories and stories in our hearts always. Memorial services will be held Friday, July 18, 2025, at 3:00 pm at Fort Logan National VA Cemetery located at 4400 W. Kenyon Ave. Denver, Colorado 80236, with a Celebration of Life to follow at our home.
