In Loving Memory of Blanche Elaine Martinez It is with deep sorrow and love that we announce the sudden passing of Blanche Elaine Martinez on June 26, 2025. Blanche was a gentle soul—quiet in presence but loud in love, strength, and spirit. Her heart was big, her laughter warm, and her kindness touched everyone who had the honor of knowing her. Whether through a knowing smile or a thoughtful gesture, she had a way of making those around her feel seen and cared for. She leaves behind her beloved daughter Sarah, her eldest sister Diana, and her loving brother Thomas. Blanche will also be missed by extended family, dear friends, cherished pets, and all whose lives she brightened with her quiet grace and unwavering love. Though gone too soon, her memory will live on in the hearts of those she held dear. May she rest in peace, surrounded by light and love. A celebration of Blanche's life will be held 11:00 am Tuesday, July 22, 2025 at Our Lady of Refuge Catholic Church, 11140 Preston Street in Castroville.

He and his wife founded Salinas Valley Mortuary in 1956 to help serve the families in the Salinas Valley area. Their lifelong mission was to unselfishly serve area families based on their strong, trusting relationship with their community – something we honor to this day almost seven decades years later....
