George Allen Collins, age 65 of Dungannon, VA went home to be with Jesus on Monday, July 14, 2025. George was born on April 22, 1960, in Dungannon, VA to George Lane and Opal Collins.
Allen enjoyed hunting ginseng and collecting all types of gadgets. He loved going to flea markets and auctions. Allen was very well versed in God’s word, and he found peace in reading his Bible.
Allen was preceded in death by his parents. Those left to cherish his memory are his friend till the end, Joyce Elam; son, Jason Lucas; daughter, Tracha Quillen-Barger; several grandchildren; three brothers, Dennis Hall, David Hall and his wife, Debbie, and Brad Blevins; three sisters, Wanda Conliff, Delores McKee, and Linda Zingler; special friend, Danny Ray Laney; and many loving nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends.
It was Allen’s wish to be cremated, and the family will plan a memorial service to be conducted at a later date.
