Mrs. Nancy Jones Tilley, 95, of Kernersville passed away on July 16, 2025 in Kernersville.  Born in Mocksville, North Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Rufus and Martha (Trivette) Jones and wife of the late Charlie James Tilley.

Nancy was well loved by all those who knew her. She embodied the classic Southern Belle always wearing her pearls. She cared deeply for her family. She was an on-the-go kind of lady, whether that be eating out or just getting out of the house. She enjoyed listening to bluegrass/country/gospel music and would attend live music events whenever possible. Some of her most special times were spent at their homes at either the beach or the mountains. She was a devout woman in her faith. Everyone would always remark about how Nancy was the strongest lady they knew and always had a smile on her face. 

Nancy is survived by her daughter, Brenda Tilley; her grandchildren, Scott Banner, Shannon Draus and husband, Chris; her great-grandchildren, Jaxson Draus and Baylen Draus; her daughter, M.C. Davis; her grandson, J.L White; her brother, Wayne Jones; her sister-in-law, Betty Tilley; and her brothers-in-law, Lloyd Tilley and Johnny Tilley; and her many nieces and nephews. 

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Katy Whitaker, Pete Jones, Ruth Wilson, Jo Smith, Thelma Reavis, Johnny Jones, and Gene Jones.

The family will receive friends at Pierce-Jefferson Funeral Service, 213 W. Mountain St. Kernersville NC 27284 on Tuesday, July 22nd, 2025 from 12:30PM  -  1:30PM.  Funeral services will follow beginning at 1:30PM with Pastor Steve Roberson officiating.  Interment will be at Gardens of Memory in Walkertown, North Carolina.

In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make memorial contributions to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation Delaware Valley Chapter in Harrisburg, PA.
