GYSGT Allen "AL" Jerome Krnc (RET)

Allen Jerome Krnc, fondly known as “Al,” left an indelible mark on the hearts of those who knew him, passing away on July 10, 2025, in Sun City, Arizona, at the age of 64. Born on December 15, 1960, in Heidelberg, Germany, Al was the beloved son of the late Aloysius and Maria Krnc. His life was a shining testament to the transformative power of selflessness and dedication. With over 20 years of honorable service in the United States Marine Corps, Al retired with distinction as a Gunnery Sergeant, leaving an enduring legacy of leadership and commitment that inspired countless lives. During the years after his retirement he chose to care for his mother, and an elder friend he became close with. He was also a security officer for a company, and a member of the board for the HOA where he resided. He is survived by his son, Richard Krnc and his daughter Felicia Krnc Chavez Hernandez (Artemio) of Newport, North Carolina, along with his grandchildren, Gabriela Chavez Hernandez, and Artemio Chavez Hernandez Jr of Newport, North Carolina, The Mother of his Children Joyce Arnold of Newport, NC and a brother Larry Krnc of California. For Al, family and friends was the very fabric of his existence, and his love and guidance will continue to uplift and inspire them. Al's hands were never idle, as he found profound joy and purpose in working on cars and offering help wherever it was needed. His generosity and willingness to support others reflected his extraordinary spirit and kind heart. As we remember Al, we honor a life of remarkable service, love, and unwavering support. His family and friends will cherish the memory of a steadfast figure of strength, kindness, and devotion. May Allen Jerome Krnc's spirit continue to inspire us, forever remembered and celebrated for a life that touched the hearts of all who knew him.
