Sharmar Ramont McCaa
April 21st, 1982 - July 8th, 2025
Shamar Ramont McCaa was the first of 3 children born to Ronald Lee Hayes and the only child of Sandra Denise Weatherspoon (McCaa) on April 21st, 1982, in Saint Paul, Minnesota.
In the year 2000, Shamar graduated from Highland Park Senior High School in Saint Paul, Minnesota where he played Football and Basketball. After high school, Shamar held many different positions and earned his Forklift Operator Certificate. Shamar enjoyed fishing, watching and playing sports, spending time with friends and family and was an excellent cook.
Shamar is preceded in death by his grandparent: Erslie Mae Hayes.
Shamar will be forever remembered by his Daughters Renee Jordan Alisigwe and Sharmariana Denise Alisigwe; Parents Ronald Lee Hayes and Sandra Denise Weatherspoon; Two Grandchildren Saiyr Alisigwe and Amina Miller; Two Sisters Nija Wills and Nesha Hayes; Grandparents Sammie James McCaa Sr., Lottie Mae McCaa, Edward C. Hayes, many loving Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and Friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 23rd, 2025, at Spielman Mortuary, 344 West University Avenue, Saint Paul, Minnesota 55103 at 12:00 PM with services to follow at 1PM. A life well lived is a precious gift of hope, strength and grace, from someone who has made our world a brighter, better place. It’s filled with moments. Sweet and sad with smiles and sometimes tears. With love formed and good times shared, and laughter through the years. A life well lived is a legacy, of joy and pride and pleasure, a living lasting memory our grateful hearts will treasure.

Spielman Mortuary has been helping Saint Paul families since 1950 when Kenneth and Helen Spielman purchased the National Funeral Home. For over 30 years, the couple lived above the funeral home and took just one vacation. They sold the home in 1984 to the Willwerscheid family. We still operate Spielman Mortuary with the same traditions of pride, sensitivity, value, and attention to detail that the Spielmans followed for over three decades....
