Carol Avenmarg passed away suddenly on June 7, 2025, due to complications from a stroke. She is survived by her sister Carmen, five children—Jeff, Lonny, Tim, Andree, and Jay—and their families, and countless relatives and friends.
Carol was spicy, welcoming, and lived a full and vibrant life. She was passionate about her children & grandchildren, friends, playing Bridge, and good wine - not always in that order.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 9 at 11:00 AM at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Bayport, Minnesota. For those unable to attend in person, a Zoom link will be available through the Santa Cruz Bridge Center or by contacting Andree directly.
A private family ceremony will take place at a later date for the dispersal of her ashes in Santa Cruz.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Santa Cruz Bridge Center, 2450 17th Avenue, Suite 200, Santa Cruz, CA 95062.
