Jacquelyn Corbett, 93, a cherished mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on July 16, 2025, at Baystate Hospital in Springfield, MA. Born on May 31, 1932, in Sterling, MA, she was the daughter of Franklin Jacobs and Marion (Pearson) Horta.   Jacquelyn devoted her life to nurturing those around her. She worked as a caregiver for many years, devoting herself to the well-being of others. Her compassionate spirit was evident in every aspect of her life. Prior to her caregiving career, she was employed at the Belchertown State School.   In 1978, Jacquelyn moved to Belchertown. She spent the last eight years of her life at Christopher Heights, a residence where she enjoyed the company of fellow residents. Her family expresses heartfelt gratitude to the staff there for their exceptional care and support throughout her final years.   Jacquelyn was predeceased by her beloved husband, Robert D. Corbett, and five siblings: Doris, Marion, Ramona, Donna, and Juanita. She is survived by her four daughters: Linda White and her husband Robert of East Lyme, CT; Sheila Masi and her husband Mark of West Springfield; Jacquelyn Demers and her husband Scott of Belchertown; and Patricia McDonald of Enfield, CT. She took immense pride in her nine grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren, who brought her endless joy and love. Additionally, she leaves behind many nieces and nephews who cherished her deeply.   A woman of varied interests, Jacquelyn found great joy in family gatherings and cherished moments spent at York Beach in Maine, her happy place. She also dedicated her time as a volunteer at the Holyoke Soldiers' Home.   In honoring Jacquelyn's memory, all services will be held privately, in accordance with her wishes.
