John Charles Victor DeMartini

John Charles Victor DeMartini, aged 75, passed away on July 7, 2025, in Sacramento, CA. Born on October 5, 1949, John was known for his kindness, dry sense of humor, and generosity; he was always willing to assist his family and friends.
John served in the Army from 1971 to 1972. Following his military service, he worked as an Electrician Technician for eight years and later as a Locksmith for five years. He was a graduate of Jackson High School, which is now known as Argonaut High School.
John spent his leisure time watching movies, with a particular fondness for Hallmark films, which brought him much joy and relaxation.
He is survived by his daughter, Lucy Nickell, sisters, Mary Johnson and Shirley Barrow. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dorothy Stacey and John Andrew DeMartini, as well as his grandparents, Earl and Ruby Grover.
A graveside service will be held at Ione Public Cemetery on August 8, 2025, at 11:00 am. This will be followed by a Celebration of Life Service at Kings View Assembly of God Church, located at 432 W. Marlette Street in Ione, CA.
