Jacquelyn Deniston

Jacquelyn passed away peacefully in her home on Friday, July 18th. She was with family at the time of her passing. Jacquelyn is survived by her three sons Vance (Janet), Blane (Ellen), and Tod and her 5 grandchildren Lia, Ryan, Jill, Eric, and Cheyenne and a great grandchild Neo. She was born in Lincoln NE where she spent all her childhood and still has friends there to this day. She was married to Thomas G. Densiton and when he was injured in Vietnam the family move to Tennessee. Jacquelyn made many friends there and some lifelong ones as well. In 1974 the family moved to New Mexico. Jacquelyn loved nothing more then being a mother of her three sons. That was her passion. As times changed and Jacquelyn went into the workforce she started a career in accounting at UNM. She loved the job and the people she worked with. As her own parents were getting older she moved backed to Lincoln, NE to help care for them.  While there she worked in accounting at the University of Nebraska. She and her mother eventually moved back to New Mexico where she would spend the rest of her life. When you became Jacquelyn's friend, you were a friend for life. She always had a smile and a big laugh.  Of all the jobs she had, her favorite was being a mom.  She will be cremated and, as per her wish, there will be no funeral.
